national offices in professional organizations, edit scholarly
journals, write books and articles, host national conferences,
and lecture throughout the United States and in other countries.
Besides winning more than
thirty-five awards for their teaching, advising, and
research, the distinguished faculty
members are involved in many activities outside of the
department. A few of these include involvement with the
George Bush School
of Government and Public Service (Texas A&M
University), former President of the International
Association for Conflict Management, and Director of the Program in
Leadership and Health Care Policy (Center for Leadership
Studies, Texas A&M University). |
