Author of Communication Theories: Perspectives, Processes, and Contexts and Organizational Communication: Approaches and Processes.  Research published in Journal of Applied Communication Research, Management Communication Quarterly, Communication Monographs and elsewhere.  Associate editor of Communication Theory and past editor of Management Communication Quarterly.

Dr. Miller’s research in organizational and health communication has been recognized with numerous top paper awards from the International Communication Association and National Communication Association.  She has recently presented endowed lectures at the University of North Carolina and for the College of Liberal Arts at TAMU and was selected to give the University Distinguished Lecture at TAMU in the spring of 2004.

Dr. Katherine Miller, Professor, typically teaches the following: COMM 305 – Theories of Communication, COMM 320 – Organizational Communication, COMM 620 – Human Communication Theory, COMM 637 – Organizational Communication Seminar, and COMM 670 – Health Communication Seminar.
