We want to encourage Communication majors to participate
in our internship program. Please contact the Departmental
Internship Coordinator, Nancy Street (n-street@tamu.edu)
if you have any questions.
It provides opportunities to:
- Examine theoretical information
gained in the classroom in an employment setting
- Learn
professionalism
- Develop employment contacts & experience
In order to participate in COMM
484 students must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum
GPR of 2.5 (overall) prior to REGISTRATION for the
internship
- 12
hours of COMM coursework completed prior to registration
- Either have declared a COMM major at TAMU for at least
two semesters
or have fulfilled 12 hours of COMM coursework
at TAMU prior to registration

If you are interested in applying for an internship, an
application can be obtained at the main office of the Department
of Communication or a printable internship application

Complete the application requirements
and do one of the following: (1) return the application
to the main office (107 Bolton
Hall); (2) fax the application
to the main office (979) 845-6594; or (3) email the application
as an attachment to n-street@tamu.edu.
