Substitutions
Transfer courses that are not considered "equivalencies" are
not applied toward your degree plan unless they are formally
approved as a "substitute" course by the Communication
Coordinator of Undergraduate Advising and the CLA undergraduate
advising office. When you come to the advising Office
(Bolton 107) bring a copy of the course description or
syllabus for the course you want to substitute. In approximately
3-4 weeks we will know if the petition was approved.
Students can call 845-5500 to find out the results of
their petitions or check on Screen 810 on BONFIRE.
Co-enrollment
International students must meet with Nancy
Street if
they wish to co-enroll at another institution prior to
co-enrolling.
Q-Drops
Students are allowed three Q-Drops during their academic
career at TAMU. Pick up the form from the Undergraduate
Advising Office (Bolton
Hall 107), complete the form,
and bring it to Nancy
Street in Bolton 107A or leave
it for her.
Q-drop deadlines are strictly enforced.
95-Hour Degree Audit
These are prepared the semester you will complete 95
hours. You must pick up your audit from the Undergraduate
Advising Office (Bolton
Hall 107) by the deadline date.
If you do not pick up your audit you will be blocked
from pre-registration.
BONFIRE Computing Resource
BONFIRE is the name of a service to students from the
Office
of the Registrar. It is an interactive computer
program that allows students to view transcripts, degree
audits, grades, course section availability, registration
and transcript blocks, billing statements, schedules,
and access their address records. For more information
on this service and instructions on how to access it
please
see the Office of the Registrar's website.
On October 5th the Student
Information System website
was launched to replace BONFIRE. This site has all the
information BONFIRE offers and a bit littler more! Click
