STUDENT
ORGANIZATIONS
Student Communication Association
The Student
Communication Association (SCA) is
a dynamic student-managed organization open to all levels
of SCOM majors. Students in related disciplines are encouraged
to join the association. The purpose of SCA is to provide
an opportunity for students to learn more about the
Communication discipline and its various career options.
Special
guests attend monthly meetings to visit with students
and discuss career opportunities in their respective
professions. Additionally, communication
faculty members interact with students to help establish networks necessary
to make the transition from student life to the corporate
world. In addition to educational and networking opportunities,
a variety of social events are planned throughout the
academic year.
For more information about SCA please
visit the SCA website.
