How to schedule an appointment
Current COMM and TCMS majors: schedule an academic advising appointment or come in for walk-in advising.
Current students can now schedule an online advising meeting! Rather than coming into the office for your meeting time, you will log into your TAMU Gmail account and chat with your advisor online.
If you are interested in changing your major to COMM or TCMS, during the Summer months, you can schedule a “change of curriculum” meeting through our regular appointment system. If you can wait until Fall to change your major, we will resume regular meetings at that time.
Prospective students, go to our Prospective Student page. Please do not come in for a regular advising appointment. Call to schedule a prospective student meeting.
When to come in for Summer advising
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Advising appointments or walk-ins
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Advising appointments or walk-ins
During Summer months, it is best to make an appointment. If you plan to come in for walk-in advising, please keep in mind advisors will be unavailable during the following NSC dates:
