The Department of Communication at Texas A&M University invites applications for up to four Lecturers starting in the fall semester of 2017 ending the spring semester of 2018 (9 months, one academic year). Completed M.A. or Ph.D. in communication or related discipline is required. Successful candidates will possess a strong pedagogical background for teaching courses in media studies such as media audiences, media campaigns, and digital media skills and/or communication such as public speaking, intercultural communication, and conflict management with the possibility of also teaching upper-level courses in area of expertise.
The department offers the PhD, MA, BA and BS degrees, and has 24 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, more than 45 graduate students, and over 1200 undergraduate majors.
