|The Department of Communication has a well-established Honors plan. Exceptional undergraduate students who graduate with Honors in Communication will receive the Communication Honors distinction on their official A&M transcript, be recognized at a University-wide honors recognition ceremony, and receive a gold honors stole to wear at commencement.

The Department of Communication has strong linkages to the University Honors program. COMM and TCMS are among TAMU students tapped for Phi Beta Kappa each year. The department also has an Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta.
