JUSTIN HOBBS ’01
Senior Account Executive
Ariba, an SAP Company
Justin is currently a Senior Account Executive for Ariba, an SAP Company. Ariba, an SAP Company, is the world’s business commerce network. We help companies extend their business commerce processes into the Cloud, where they can use our solutions and the Ariba Network to work more efficiently and effectively with their trading partners. That means driving more value whenever they’re buying, managing cash or selling. The Ariba Network is the world’s largest trading partner community. Every two minutes, a business joins the Ariba Network. That’s one more potential buying or selling opportunity just waiting to be discovered — a trading partner with whom you could connect and collaborate through a single platform in the cloud to lower costs or risks, boost revenue, or manage cash and working capital. Right now, there are more than 1.7 million to discover, doing business in 190 countries around the world. Together with SAP, we are combining the best of both companies to fuel a whole new way of doing business in today’s digital economy.
Immediately preceding Ariba, just was a Corporate Sales Manager for the Procure-to-Pay solutions product line under the Added Value Services division of ADP (Automatic Data Processing). Justin focused exclusively on the Oil and Gas industry in North America.
Prior to Justin’s Procure-to-Pay role within ADP, Justin managed a team of sales professionals for over 5 years who focused on bringing ADP’s solutions to companies with less than 50 employees. While a Sales Executive in ADP’s Small Business Services division, Justin hired and helped over 30 recent college graduates in starting their first career…of course, hiring as many Aggies as possible.
Before Justin’s career in sales at ADP began he held various other positions. Upon graduating, Justin moved to Chicago and worked for Bowne Financial Print in the customer service division. After a year in Chicago, Justin moved back to Texas and became a sales representative for a small advertising firm in Dallas. The experience Justin gained at the advertising firm is what allowed him to relocate to San Antonio and begin working for ADP.
While at A&M, Justin remained active in several student organizations. He served in Fish Camp, Traditions Council and was director of Parents’ Weekend Committee. He was also active in a Christian fraternity, BYX.
Justin lives in Dallas with his wife Kelsey and two daughters, Hailey, 7, and Kate, 5. In his spare time Justin loves to travel, watch football, and golf any chance he gets! He is also very active in raising money for brain cancer research and families battling cancer and other life threatening diseases through a non-profit organization he serves with called Clays for Cara. The organization was set up to honor his late wife, Cara, and raise awareness and funds to fight brain cancer. Go to www.ClaysforCara.com for more information.
